Child safety at Goaliano

We do not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation

Any such material or behavior leads to the account being closed, and the material is kept only where the law requires it. We report it to law enforcement and to the relevant national hotline, as the law requires.

How Goaliano protects minors

• A player aged 13 to 17 can use Goaliano only once a parent or guardian has approved the account. A child is never asked for an identity document or a biometric.
• A child under 13 can only be added by a parent or guardian, who manages the profile; the child cannot sign in. Scouts cannot find a child under 13 or send them a message.
• A player's clips are never shown to other players. Apart from Goaliano's own staff, only the club the player belongs to and a coach the player is linked to — links both sides agreed to — can see them. A scout sees a player's own footage only after the player, or the guardian of a player under 18, has agreed, and always with faces blurred, on every plan; the entry scout plan sees a generated compilation only.
• A player's name is shown to a scout only after the player — or, for a player under 18, the guardian — signs a reveal. Every disclosure works the same way: nothing appears until it is agreed, and a scout otherwise sees that the player refused or has not agreed yet. An address or sensitive data is never disclosed. A reveal can be withdrawn at any time, and the scout blocked.
• Goaliano has one place where users write to each other — Messages, on the website and inside both apps — and no public comments. Only a scout on a paid plan can start a conversation with a player, and never with a player under 13 or one whose profile is hidden from scouts. When the player is 13 to 17, their parent or guardian can read the whole conversation, read-only, from their own Goaliano account, and is notified of each new message. A message addressed to a child under 13 never reaches the child: it goes to the parent or guardian who manages the profile.
• A parent or guardian can withdraw consent, change who can see the child's profile, and export or delete the child's data, at any time.

Reporting a concern

Write to safe@goaliano.com — Goaliano Safe, our child-protection address, shown at the foot of every page and every e-mail. The Goaliano team reads it, and we respond as quickly as possible.

Inside any conversation on Goaliano you can report a message or the other person, and you can block them. A block works both ways: neither of you can send a message or start a new conversation, and they can no longer find your profile. If the player in the conversation is under 18, a report pauses the conversation at once until our team has looked at it. A parent or guardian who reads their child's conversation can report and block on the child's behalf.
