Five drills for a better first touch

Sharpen your first touch

  1. Wall taps — two-touch against a wall, both feet.
  2. Trap & settle — kill the ball dead in one touch, 20 reps.
  3. Juggling ladders — add one juggle each day.
  4. Receive & turn — open your body before the ball arrives.
  5. First-time passing — no second touch allowed.
