The questions people ask before they start.

Check the address for typos and that Caps Lock is off, because passwords are case-sensitive. If it still will not let you in, use the forgotten-password link on the sign-in page and set a new one. For your protection we give the same answer whether or not an address has an account here, so a reset message arriving is not by itself confirmation that the address is registered.

Five failed attempts within fifteen minutes lock an account, and we email you when it happens so that you know somebody tried. Nothing is deleted and you do not need to contact us: wait fifteen minutes and try again, or reset your password in the meantime.

Your account exists but the address has not been confirmed yet. Open the message we sent when you registered and enter the code from it. A code stops working fifteen minutes after it is sent, so if yours has run out, ask for a new one. You can request up to three new codes an hour for the same address.

Look in your junk or spam folder first. A first message from a sender your provider has not seen before is often filed there, and Outlook and Hotmail do it most. Mark it as not junk so that the later ones reach your inbox. Then check the address you typed for a slip. If it is still missing after a few minutes, ask for a new code, and write to us if that does not work either.

Two-factor authentication is switched on for your account. Open your authenticator app and type the code showing at that moment; they change every thirty seconds, so if one is refused, wait for the next. If codes are refused again and again, check that your phone's clock is set automatically, which is the usual cause. If you no longer have the device, use one of the ten backup codes you were given when you turned two-factor authentication on.

An account for someone under 18 cannot be used until the guardian named at registration confirms it. We sent that person a link by email, and sign-in works as soon as they follow it. If the wrong address was given, write to us and we will correct it.

Not everybody. We ask it of the people whose part on Goaliano carries responsibility for somebody else: scouts, coaches, clubs and partners, and any parent or guardian approving a child's account or creating a profile for a child under 13. An ordinary player account is not asked for it.

Our identity provider opens in your browser. You photograph an official document, which can be a passport, a national identity card or a driving licence, and then take a short selfie so that the document can be matched to the person holding it. It takes a few minutes. Have the document with you and good light before you start, because most checks that fail fail on the photograph rather than on the identity.

Often within minutes. Some checks are passed to a human reviewer instead, and those take longer. While that is happening your settings page says the check is being reviewed, and we tell you as soon as there is an answer. You do not need to keep the page open or start the check again.

The usual causes are a blurred or cropped photograph, glare across the document, a document that has expired, or a name that does not match the one on your account. You can start the check again from your settings page once you have put right what you can. If it keeps failing, write to us rather than trying over and over.

Never. A child is never asked for a document or for a biometric sample. A minor's place on Goaliano rests on their guardian's own verified identity and their signed consent, so it is the adult who is checked, not the child.

The photographs are taken by the identity provider that runs the check; they are not kept on your Goaliano profile. What we hold against your account is the outcome of the check, when it was decided, and a reference that lets a later answer be matched to the right check. Our privacy notice sets out the detail.

Because the assessment is not finished when the AI is finished. Your clips are scored by our AI and then go to a panel of human reviewers, who have 72 hours to return their judgement, and reviewers are people with the ordinary delays that people have. The fourteen days is the room that lets the whole assessment be completed before any number is published. Releasing the AI’s half early would mean publishing a smaller claim than the one your certificate carries. (The launch offer is the exception: it is AI-only and opens within minutes.)

We email you to confirm that the clips arrived and that the analysis is under way, and your dashboard shows a countdown to the day your result opens. There is nothing else for you to do and nothing is waiting on you.

Fourteen days after the analysis finishes. We email you on the day it opens, and the countdown on your dashboard becomes your result. Your full report and your certificate unlock at that same moment, not afterwards.

That is what it should say before the release day. A report or certificate link only works once the result has opened, so it answers that it is not released even when the evaluation itself has finished processing and a certificate has already been issued for it. The same link begins working on the day it unlocks, so you do not need a new one.

Yes, in one case. An evaluation bought through the launch offer is scored by AI alone, with no reviewer panel attached to it, so there is nothing for it to wait for and the result opens within minutes. Every ordinary plan keeps the fourteen days.

A player profile is free, and one full AI evaluation costs $9.99. The full report and a certificate are included, and the report is the same one an ordinary evaluation produces.

From 23 September 2026 to 31 December 2026. It cannot be bought before it opens or after it closes, and there is no limit on how many people can take it while it is open.

Your clips are scored by our AI and no panel of human reviewers is attached. The analysis and the report are the same; what is not included is the human review stage that an ordinary evaluation goes through. We say so plainly before you pay, because that is the difference you are choosing.

You keep your profile, your verified identity, your player links and your reviewer standing. There is no free coach plan: the directory listing and access to your players' reports stop until you hold a plan again.

No. Eight clips on an ordinary phone are enough — no studio, no drone, and no club to belong to. Anyone who plays can be evaluated.

Our own computer-vision service measures what your footage can show, on Goaliano's servers — your video is not handed to a third-party AI. Then qualified reviewers score the same evaluation without seeing your name, club or country, or each other's scores; the human result is the consensus of their scores, so one outlier cannot move it.

Results are released 14 days after your evaluation completes, combining automated analysis with human review. You will see a countdown, and we email you the moment it unlocks. The one exception is the launch offer: it is an AI Evaluation edition with no reviewer panel, so its result opens within minutes.

Yes. Train, film the same eight clips again and put the new report next to the last one — the same criteria, a new number. How many evaluations a membership includes is shown on each plan.

Yes, and how depends on their age. From 13 to 17 the young player registers their own account and names a parent or guardian, who must verify their own identity and sign a consent document before anything is uploaded, evaluated or visible. Under 13 the child has no account at all: a verified parent or guardian creates the profile inside their own account, signs consent for it, and administers it on the child's behalf.

Because everyone else here is relying on it. A club receiving a report, a parent handing over their child's video, a player being contacted by a scout — each is trusting that the account on the other side belongs to a real, identified person or organisation. That is why verification is required rather than optional, and why it differs by role: organisations are verified as businesses, coaches and scouts also have their licences reviewed by a person, and a minor is never asked for a document or a biometric — their identity rests on their guardian's verified identity and signed consent. The checks are being introduced role by role; club verification is already in place.

First the score and grade; then position, age and country; the name and photo only after the scout signs a non-circumvention agreement — and the player is notified when that happens. Under 18, all of this runs through the verified parent or guardian.

Yes. A verified club can order evaluations for the players on its roster and see the squad in one view; a coach can follow the progress of the players they manage. Each player is measured by the same code and the same criteria as everyone else.

Ongoing access: it runs for a set period and includes a number of evaluations, reports and certificates, shown on each plan. A monthly plan renews every 30 days and an annual plan once a year; on both, the evaluations open every 30 days. A single evaluation does not renew. Everything you received while it ran is yours to keep.

A free account lets you register, build your profile and see how everything works. An evaluation needs a membership or a single evaluation — there is no free evaluation. The price is a filter, not a barrier.

You earn a fee for every review you complete. Your earnings build up as a balance that is paid monthly to the payout account you set up when you join. The fee, the minimum payout and every other term are in the reviewer agreement.

No. Applying and reviewing are free for every coach, with or without a coach plan. What you need is a verified identity and a current coaching licence.

Yes. Credentials are hashed, data is encrypted in transit, and you can export or erase your data at any time.

Yes, from your settings, at any time: download a copy of everything we hold about you, or request deletion — your personal data is removed after a grace period, and you can cancel the request before it ends. Reports and certificates already issued stay yours.

Every certificate carries a serial number and a digital signature. Anyone holding one can enter the serial on the verification page and see whether it was issued by us, whether it is still valid, and whether it has been revoked.
