Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Goaliano is operated by K&K Innovation Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (UK company no. 17094329) and based in London, United Kingdom. In these Terms "Goaliano", "we" and "us" mean that company. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy), our Refund Policy (/legal/refund) and our Cookie Policy (/legal/cookies). If you do not agree, do not use Goaliano.

You can reach us at hello@goaliano.com for anything about the service, at privacy@goaliano.com for anything about your data, and at safe@goaliano.com for anything about a child's safety.

2. Eligibility & age

An account of one's own requires you to be at least 13. Users aged 13–17 require verified parental or guardian consent before uploading videos, receiving an evaluation, or being visible to scouts (see Goaliano Safe).

A child under 13 does not hold an account. A parent or legal guardian whose own identity we have verified may create a profile for them inside the guardian's account, and administers it on the child's behalf; that profile is inactive until the guardian signs the consent document naming the child, and the guardian may withdraw consent and delete it at any time. We rely on the guardian's verified identity and signed consent as the reasonable efforts UK GDPR Article 8 requires of us to confirm that whoever consented holds parental responsibility.

3. Evaluations

An evaluation is produced from the clips you upload. It combines automated analysis of your video with review by a human panel across a defined framework of criteria; criteria that video cannot evidence are judged by the reviewer panel and are not given an automated score. The result is a score, a grade, a report and, where your membership includes one, a certificate.

Scores, grades and reports are opinions for development and discovery purposes. They are not a guarantee of selection, a trial, a contract or any outcome with any club, scout or academy, and nobody at Goaliano can promise one. Do not make a financial or life decision on the strength of an evaluation alone.

Evaluations are included in memberships (section 4); they are not sold one by one to players. Each evaluation is counted against the allowance of the membership in force when you submit it. We aim to deliver an evaluation within a stated turnaround, but the review is done by people and the time is not guaranteed. If we cannot produce an evaluation from what you uploaded — for example the footage is unusable — we tell you why, and the allowance is not consumed.

You can ask a person to look again at any automated decision that affects you, including a score, and to reconsider it. The Privacy Policy, section 9, sets out how and how fast we answer.

4. Memberships, payments and refunds

Goaliano is sold as memberships. The current plans, prices and what each includes are shown on the pricing page (/pricing) before you pay and are the plans that apply; for players they are One-Time (a single 30-day period that does not renew), Starter and Striker (monthly); scouts, coaches and clubs have their own tiers. A free account exists and is enough to browse, to keep a profile and to use the training tools that do not need an evaluation.

All prices are in US dollars. The price shown is the amount you are charged; no tax is added at checkout. Payments are taken by our payment provider (section 4 of the Privacy Policy names it); we never see or store your full card number.

Monthly memberships renew automatically at the end of each 30-day period and are charged to the payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your access until the end of the period you have paid for. When you move to a higher plan the new plan starts a fresh period at its full price; we do not pro-rate the unused part of the old one. If a renewal payment fails we retry and tell you; if it still fails, your membership lapses and, after a 30-day grace period, the account is suspended (section 14) until a payment goes through. Nothing is deleted by a suspension.

We may change prices. A price change for a renewing membership takes effect from your next renewal and we give you at least 30 days' notice by email first, so that you can cancel before it applies. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.

If you are a consumer you have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of making it. How that works for a membership — including what happens when an evaluation has already been submitted under it — and what is and is not refundable, is set out in full in our Refund Policy (/legal/refund), which forms part of these Terms.

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend the account while the dispute is open. We would much rather you wrote to hello@goaliano.com first; most billing questions are settled the same day.

5. How your video is used

When you upload match or skills clips, you are asking us to produce your evaluation from them. That is what the footage is used for: it is analysed by our software, watched by the reviewer panel, and shown to any scout, coach or club you have chosen to be visible to.

We keep the footage for 12 months after the evaluation is completed and then delete it automatically; you can delete any clip yourself before then. Your scores, report and certificate do not contain the footage and are kept with your account.

We do not currently use your footage to train our models. If we ever do, it will only be an anonymised copy — faces blurred, identifying details removed — produced only where that anonymisation is switched on and confirmed for each file, and we will update the Privacy Policy before it starts, not after. Anonymised footage is not personal data, and it cannot be traced back to you.

Upload only footage you have the right to share. Other people will often appear in a match clip; you are responsible for having filmed lawfully, and we treat those bystanders' images as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Upload only footage you have the right to share. No impersonation, no fraudulent identities, and no content that violates others' rights or child-safety rules.

What happens if we suspend or ban an account, stated plainly because the two are different. A SUSPENSION — for an unpaid membership, or a withdrawn parental consent — locks the account and deletes nothing; it lifts when the cause is resolved, and while it lasts you can still export or delete your own data from your settings. A BAN is our response to a serious breach of these terms, and it is not the same: the account is closed to you and the SELF-SERVICE export and deletion buttons are not available, because the records are evidence of the conduct that led to the ban and we may need them to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim (UK GDPR Article 17(3)(e)).

This does not remove your rights, and we will not pretend otherwise. You can still ask us for a copy of your data or for its erasure by writing to privacy@goaliano.com, and we answer within one month. Where a request would destroy evidence in an open matter we may refuse the erasure and will tell you why and for how long; a request for a COPY is not refused on those grounds. When the matter closes, the ordinary retention rules apply again.

If you believe footage on Goaliano infringes your copyright or shows you without your consent, write to privacy@goaliano.com with the link, who you are and what you claim. We acknowledge within two business days and, where the claim is credible, remove or restrict the content while we look into it; the account holder is told what was removed and why, and may respond.

7. Liability

Goaliano is provided 'as is'. To the extent permitted by law, K&K Innovation Solutions Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for loss of profit, opportunity, contracts or goodwill, or for any decision you or a third party make on the strength of an evaluation, a score, a certificate or anything the AI assistant says.

Our total liability to you for everything arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away rights that the consumer law of the country you live in gives you and does not let us exclude.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material — it affects your rights, what you pay, or how your data is used — we tell you by email and by a notice in the service at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you can close your account before then if you do not accept it. Continued use after the date the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. Each version carries its version number and effective date at the top of this page, and we keep the previous versions on request.

9. Service availability

Goaliano is under continuous development and improvement. We regularly update, enhance, and refine the platform to deliver better performance, new features, and stronger security. As a result, you acknowledge and agree that brief, temporary interruptions to the Service may occasionally occur — whether for scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times. That said, we work intensively to minimize any disruption to the Service and, in the rare event of an interruption, to restore full functionality as quickly and safely as possible.

10. Your content and our intellectual property

You own the clips, photos and text you upload. So that we can provide the service you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, transcode, analyse and display that content: to our software and reviewers to produce the evaluation; to the scouts, coaches and clubs you have chosen to be visible to; to you, in your reports and certificates. The licence lasts while the content is on Goaliano and ends when it is deleted, except for the copies we must keep under the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

Goaliano, its name, logo, the design of its reports and certificates, its scoring framework, its software and the content we create (including The Club and our illustrations) belong to K&K Innovation Solutions Ltd or its licensors. You may share your own report and certificate freely; you may not copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service, its data or its designs, and you may not present a Goaliano certificate as anything other than what it is: our assessment of a submitted video, on the date it was issued, verifiable at the link printed on it.

11. Scouts, coaches, clubs and academies

Professional accounts — scouts, coaches, clubs and academies — are for people and organisations working in football, and we may ask for evidence of that before or after an account is opened. What a professional account sees of a player depends on the player's own visibility choices and on the tier the professional holds: from a score only, through attributes, to identity and full contact, as shown on the pricing page.

A professional may use player data only to identify, assess, contact through Goaliano and develop players, and only while the membership is active. A professional may not download, copy, store outside Goaliano, share, sell or publish player data or footage, contact a minor other than through the guardian channel we provide, or use anything obtained through Goaliano to build another service. Breach of this section is a serious breach of these Terms (section 6) and, where a minor is involved, a matter we treat under our child-safety rules (section 2).

Club and academy memberships include a stated number of full-report evaluations for the club's registered players; academy packages are priced per player as shown on the pricing page. A club is responsible for having the authority — and, for minors, the guardian consent — to submit its players' footage, and for keeping its staff accounts to the people it has named.

12. GOOL points, rewards and the ambassador programme

GOOL points are an internal reward within Goaliano. They are earned for activity on the platform and can be spent only on the extras we list inside the service. GOOL points have no cash value, are not money, a currency, a security or a crypto-asset, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn, and cannot be exchanged for cash. The total number that can ever exist is capped. We may change how points are earned or spent, or end the programme, on notice under section 8; points held when an account closes are forfeited. Any future token or exchangeable form of GOOL would be a separate product under separate terms, and nothing here is a promise that one will exist.

The ambassador programme rewards members who refer new members. Commissions are shown in the programme's own page and are payable only once a payout method is live, only above the minimum payout amount shown there, and only for genuine referrals: self-referrals, incentivised or fraudulent sign-ups, or spamming forfeit the commissions and may close the account. Where the programme is not yet paying out, accrued commissions are recorded and shown to you and are paid when it opens.

13. AI features and The Club

Parts of Goaliano are produced by software. The scoring in an evaluation is partly automated (section 3). The help assistant answers from our published documentation and can be wrong; nothing it says is advice, a promise or a change to these Terms — where it and this page disagree, this page wins. Translations of the service into languages other than English are machine-made; the English version of these Terms and of every legal page is the authoritative one.

The Club is a set of fictional characters and AI-generated illustrations created by Goaliano. None of them is a real person, a real club or a real kit, and any resemblance is unintended. Illustrations on the site that are AI-generated are labelled as such.

14. Suspension, termination and closing your account

You can close your account at any time from your settings. Closure starts a 30-day grace period in which you can change your mind; after it, your personal data is erased as the Privacy Policy describes, and the records we must keep are kept as it describes.

We may suspend an account for an unpaid membership or a withdrawn guardian consent, and we may close an account for a serious breach of these Terms, for a legal or safety reason, or where we are required to. Section 6 explains the difference between a suspension and a ban and what each does to your data. We may also withdraw the service or a feature on notice under section 8; a paid period cut short by us is refunded pro rata.

Sections 6, 7, 10, 12, 16 and 17, and any right or obligation that by its nature should continue, survive the end of these Terms.

15. Where Goaliano is available

Goaliano is offered internationally, but we may refuse, restrict or withdraw registration or service where providing it would break a sanctions law, an export control, a child-safety rule or another law that binds us, or where we cannot verify who is behind an account well enough to be responsible for what it holds. Where we refuse, we say so; we do not have to give the reason where the law does not allow us to.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, including — for South African consumers — the Consumer Protection Act, and you may bring a claim in your own courts. Otherwise the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you have a problem, tell us first: hello@goaliano.com, or privacy@goaliano.com for anything about your data. We answer within one month at the latest and usually far sooner. If you are in the UK and the problem is about your data you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in South Africa, to the Information Regulator; in the EU, to your national data protection authority.

17. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Cookie Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Goaliano. If a court finds any part of them unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these Terms to anyone else; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business, and will tell you if we do. Notices to you go to the email address on your account; notices to us go to hello@goaliano.com. Links to other sites — including our merchandise store, which runs on its own site with its own terms — are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
