Reviewer Agreement

Last updated: 2026-09-29 · v1.2

Parties

K&K Innovation Solutions Ltd, company no. 17094329, London ("Goaliano", "we") and the coach accepting this agreement ("you", "the Reviewer").

1. What this is

1.1 You are engaged as an independent contractor to score football evaluation footage on the Goaliano platform. You are not an employee, worker, agent or partner of Goaliano; you set your own hours, use your own equipment, and may work for others.

1.2 This agreement starts when your application is approved and ends when either side ends it (§9).

2. Who may review

2.1 You confirm you are a football coach holding the licence you submitted, that the licence is current, and that the identity you verified is your own.

2.2 You will tell us within 14 days if your licence is suspended, revoked or lapses. A lapsed licence suspends assignments until it is renewed.

2.3 Any false statement in your application or profile ends this agreement immediately and forfeits any balance not yet paid (§9.3).

3. Blind review

3.1 Every assignment is blind: you are not told the player's identity, the automated score, or any other reviewer's score, and you must not try to find them out.

3.2 You must decline an assignment where you know or suspect who the player is, coach them, work at their club, or have any other conflict. Declining is never penalised; reviewing under a conflict is a breach.

3.3 You score what the footage shows, on the scale and categories the platform provides, honestly and independently. Copying, colluding with other reviewers, or scoring without watching the footage is a breach.

4. Confidentiality and children's footage

4.1 Most players are children. Footage is shown to you blurred and only for as long as the assignment is open. You must not record, screenshot, download, share, describe to others, or keep any footage, score or note about a player, during or after the assignment.

4.2 Footage carries a watermark identifying you. A copy that appears anywhere is traced to the account it was shown to.

4.3 You must not contact, or attempt to identify or contact, any player, parent or club from anything you see on the platform.

4.4 These duties continue after this agreement ends.

5. Payment

5.1 You are paid US$2.50 per completed review item (eight videos) that the platform accepts. An item you give back, or that expires before all eight videos are submitted, is not paid; the videos you did submit are still used, without a partial fee.

5.2 Payment is made through Stripe to the account you set up. You are responsible for completing Stripe's onboarding; we cannot pay a Stripe account that is not ready. Where Stripe is not available in the country where you are paid, payment is made by bank transfer to the bank account you give us.

5.3 Balances are paid in the first week of each month for reviews completed in the previous month, provided the balance is US$20 or more; a smaller balance carries to the next month.

5.4 Reviewers are accepted from any country. The country where you are paid decides only the method in §5.2, not whether you may review.

5.5 Taxes. You are responsible for all income tax, social contributions, VAT/GST and any other tax on amounts paid to you. We do not withhold tax. You will provide Stripe with any tax information it requires. Where the law obliges us to report payments to a tax authority, we will.

5.6 A refund or chargeback of the evaluation you reviewed does not affect your fee. A transfer to you that is reversed by the payment network is re-paid once the cause is resolved.

6. Quality

6.1 Your scores are compared with the other reviewers' on the same footage. A consistent tendency to score above or below the panel is treated as a style, not a fault: it is shown to our staff as information, it may be allowed for arithmetically when scores are combined, and it is never a penalty. Persistent inconsistency — scoring the same kind of footage very differently from one assignment to the next — and signs that footage was not watched are reviewed by a person; they are a reason to talk, not an automatic penalty.

6.2 You may be asked to sit a calibration exercise before your first assignment and periodically afterwards.

7. Data protection

7.1 In scoring footage you act on our instructions and under our controls; you are not a separate controller of players' data and must not treat it as your own.

7.2 We hold your name, contact details, licence details and the identity verification result for the purpose of this agreement and our legal duties; Stripe holds your bank and tax details under its own terms. See our Privacy Policy.

7.3 What we record about your reviewing, and for how long. To keep the panel fair and to pay for work that was actually done, the platform records, for every assignment: the server time at which you first opened each clip and the time you submitted your answers; how much of each clip was streamed to you (which parts of the file, how many times, and where you skipped or replayed); the pattern of your answers (their spread, how many items you marked "not visible", the length of your comment); and an event trail of the assignment — when it was assigned, opened, submitted, withdrawn, expired, reported or sent to an additional reviewer. These records are about you as a contractor; they contain nothing about the player beyond the assignment reference. They are seen only by Goaliano staff, are never shown to players, clubs or other reviewers, and are not used to decide your pay or to suspend you without a person reviewing them with you first. We keep them for two years after the assignment closes and then delete them automatically; when this agreement ends and your account is erased, the records under your account are deleted at the same time. Your scores and comments themselves are part of the player's evaluation and are kept under §8 and the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Your scores, comments and any notes belong to Goaliano and form part of the player's evaluation. You keep your own coaching knowledge and methods.

9. Suspension and ending

9.1 We may suspend assignments at any time while a concern is looked into; you will be told the reason.

9.2 Either side may end this agreement on notice. Reviews already completed are paid at the next run.

9.3 We may end this agreement immediately for a breach of §2.3, §3 or §4. A breach of §2.3 (false statement) or §4 (footage confidentiality) forfeits any unpaid balance; other breaches do not.

9.4 On ending, your access to the reviewer portal closes and §4 continues to apply.

10. General

10.1 This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales; the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or worker protection you enjoy where you live.

10.2 We may update this agreement with 30 days' notice; continuing to accept assignments after the date of change is acceptance.

10.3 Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything the law does not allow to be limited.
